We have in between 2 and 3 weeks left in our build season and the clock only seems to spin faster. The Team Dinners are delicious (as usual) and we continue to deeply appreciate them. Three team leaders and three parents/mentors took a field trip out of class and work this past Tuesday afternoon to go to the State Capitol in Downtown Indianapolis for 6th Annual Engineering and Technology Education Day in the Indiana State House Rotunda. Once there, they got the privilege of meeting Dr. Tony Bennett, the Superintendent of Public Instruction for the Hoosier state. Dr. Bennett spoke to the team and made them realize just how important the Engineering and Technology programs are in shaping the future leaders of our society. |

The second week is over and the "halfway point" of build season is now behind us. Everything is going extremely well. The Critical Design Review went excellently last Saturday with a plethora of advice for this season's ideas. The award submissions, ship dinner and ship date are only weeks away and then we are off to Washington DC for fun and some good healthy competition and gracious professionalism. |

With one week over, there is no end in sight to the list of accomplishments that we have made. Prototyping has turned into constructing and the mentors and parents continue to make a committment as massive as the students' to the team. There are only five weeks to go in Build Season and only seven weeks before our robot is premiered in Washington D.C. so we know that we're already on track for another historic season. |
